2013 Budget Discussions
During 2012, Tredyffrin will review the services provided by a different Township department each month at a Board of Supervisors public meeting, as well as revenue sources available to pay for those services. The goal is to engage in public dialogue that will lead to goals for the 2013 budget that begins in the fall. Trout Creek Stormwater Overlay District Ordinance
Tredyffrin Township has introduced a zoning amendment to develop an overlay district in the Trout Creek Watershed. The overlay district is intended to encourage redevelopment on large properties in the Trout Creek Watershed that will include stormwater facilities to better manage runoff. The Township has conducted studies to evaluate and develop recommendations to improve the condition of the Trout Creek Watershed. The zoning amendment is part of the implementation effort. This amendment has been reviewed and revised by both the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors at respective public meetings, and the Public Hearing for the Trout Creek Overlay District ordinance and accompanying map has been continued to the Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, February 27th, 7:30 pm in the Township Building. |

| Request for Proposals for Analysis and Revisions of Zoning Ordinance Commercial Districts
Tredyffrin Township seeks a consultant team for Analysis and Revision of the Zoning Ordinance Commercial Districts for the purposes of encouraging economic development, lessening environmental impacts, and augmenting a multi-modal transportation network. This RFP is also available on PennBid's and Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission's websites. The closing date is February 16th, 2012. |
| Road Construction
Aqua began replacing the water main on the following streets: Contention Lane (between West Wind Drive and a point 290 feet north of West Wind Drive), Churchill Drive (between Coldstream Drive and a point 200 feet north of Coldstream Drive), and Winston Way (between West Wind Drive and a point 135 feet north of Coldstream Drive). This project is scheduled to be completed around the end of February 2012. Crews will work weekdays between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm daily, and may be some minor traffic disruptions during this construction project but flagmen will be onsite. What's New with Inspections and Permits? New Guidelines and reduced application requirements!
In an effort to increase review and issuance rates, our Senior Building Inspector Mike Pilotti has revised the requirements for filing permit applications to lessen the burden on the customer. Be sure to check out the revised guidelines! |
