Bridges
The Township is responsible for five bridges that meet the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) criteria (20 foot or greater span) for biannual inspection. Those bridges are:
- Chesterbrook Boulevard over Route 202
- Bradford Road over Valley Creek
- West Valley Road over Norfolk Southern
- LeBoutillier Road over Valley Creek
- Contention Lane over the former Chester Valley Railroad.
The bridges are maintained by the Public Works Department. Questions under and/or problems can be reported by calling (610) 408-3616 or emailing publicworks@tredyffrin.org. Other bridges in the Township meeting the FHWA criteria are owned and maintained by Chester County on Township roads or by PennDOT on state roads.
