Residential Compost Site
Leaf Hauling Regulation
All residents are to haul to the Cassatt Road Site except as noted below.
Vehicles dumping at the Cassatt Road Site may not exceed a GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) of 5,500 lbs.
Proof of address is required (driver's license, etc.)
Fall 2011 Cassatt Road Site Dates and Hours of Operation:
Dates: Weekdays, October 11th through December 9th(SITE IS CLOSED NOVEMBER 11, 24, AND 25)
Hours: 7:30 am - 2:45 pm
Weekend Dates: Through the generosity of a volunteer, the Cassatt Road site will be open on the following Saturdays: October 8th, 22nd, 29th, and November 5th, 12th, and 19th, from 10 am to 3 pm.
The gate will be locked at the aforementioned closing times.
Branches / brush / stick requirements: Branches from trees and bushes: maximum diameter (6) six inches, maximum length (12) twelve feet, minimum length (4) four feet.
THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE LEAF SITE: TWIGS AND HEDGE CLIPPINGS, VINES, FRESH OR ROTTEN FIREWOOD, STUMPS, ROOTS, GARDEN DEBRIS, THORN BUSHES.
Volume and access at the Cassatt Site is limited. Therefore, any vehicle over a GVW of 5,500 lbs. will need a permit and must dump at Mill Road Monday through Friday. Please visit the Commercial Composting Site for more information.

Commercial Composting Site - Mill Road
PAYMENT ACCEPTED BY CHECK ONLY AT THE FOLLOWING RATES:
Cost per load:
- $20 for a 4 wheel vehicle
- $34 for a total combination 6 wheels (trailer) dump or stakebody
- $40 for 8 wheels total combination (trailer)
- $60 for any stakebody over 14 feet in length
Permits can be obtained from 8 am to Noon, Monday thru Thursday at the Public Works Building of the Township Administrative Complex located at 1100 DuPortail Rd.
There will be no refunds or credits for permits at Mill Rd.
Free Compost
Free compost is also available at the Teegarden and Wilson Farm Parks 7 days per week.
