Street Lights
The Township street light system of approximately 1,824 lights is maintained and operated by the Public Works Department. We purchase the energy from PECO to power the lights, but the lights, fixtures and most poles are the responsibility of the Township. The street lights are installed to guide motorists during darkness and to alert the driver of upcoming intersections and turns.
If you notice a street light that is not operating, contact the Public Works Department at (610) 408-3620, e-mail publicworks@tredyffrin.org, or fill out the online form. Please provide the address of the light and/or the pole number. We contract for street light maintenance and repair and need to provide an accurate location of the light.
