Upcoming Sewer Department Projects
Tredyffrin Township has an aggressive preventative maintenance program for its sewer lines, manholes, and pump stations. Twenty-five to seventy-five thousand feet of sewer lines are cleaned, televised, degreased or root abated a year. Certain mains are targeted for quarterly cleaning by Township personnel. Pump stations are inspected frequently by Township personnel, along with monthly inspections by an outside firm.
In 2007, sewer lines are being replaced on Spring Street, Glenn Avenue, and Circular Avenue.
