Connecting to the Public Sewer System

The following outlines the basic procedures for connection to the sewer system, but prior to this, the owner must contact the Director of Authority Operations at Tredyffrin Township. (610) 644-1400 or sewer@tredyffrin.org

Single Residence

1. Obtain capacity verification through the Director of Authority Operations.
2. Obtain Tredyffrin Township Municipal Authority specs for construction. Construction costs are borne by the resident.
3. Obtain a street opening permit if the connection will take place in the street.
4. Pay a $3,478.29 tapping fee.
5. Submit sketch for approval and schedule inspections
6. The above procedures do not include any requirements set forth by the Township concerning subdivision and land development requirements, Planning Commission, Zoning Hearing Board, Environmental Advisory Committee, or any state and federal requirements.

Commercial Properties

• Address other local agency requirements:

• Pay appropriate fees based on capacity verification.
• Submit plans for review. Make revisions (if required).
