Our curricula are free to Tredyffrin residents and crewmembers of shows produced by Tredyffrin residents. The Basics of Production curriculum is mandatory for every Tredyffrin Township Public Access TV producer and crewmember and is a required prerequisite for the Control Room and Shooting for the Edit courses.

Every taping, according to the physical demands of the production, requires a certain number of certified crewmembers to safely tape a show. At least three certified crewmembers, one of whom must be the (Tredyffrin resident) Lead Certified Producer, are required for a three-camera studio taping.

The number of crewmembers required for any field production will be determined by the studio manager at the time of the equipment loan. The basic determining factor will always be how many pairs of hands are necessary to keep talent, crew and equipment safe.

Only certified crewmembers may use the equipment.

Classes are held at the Greenwood Studio in the Tredyffrin Township Municipal Complex at 1100 DuPortail Rd. in Berwyn.

Students may attend either the Thursday evening or Saturday noon class, and that selection may change week to week.

Space may be limited. Classes may be cancelled if attendance is low.

Note: All aired programming must be non-commercial in every way, with no payment being received or financial benefit being realized by any participant of the production. Our shows must not promote any product or business in any way, including the use of lower-third graphics that identify business phone numbers or web addresses.
