Volunteer Disclaimer Statement:
The Volunteer agrees to abide by the authority of Tredyffrin Township.
The Volunteer acknowledges any risk involved in participating in Tredyffrin Township activities and accepts that all activities are undertaken
on a voluntary basis and entirely at the Volunteer's own discretion.
While Tredyffrin Township aims to safeguard the Volunteer's safety, it cannot be held responsible for damage, injury, and/or property damage
caused by risks or hazards beyond its control.
Furthermore, in consideration for the fact that Tredyffrin Township will be providing the Volunteer with supplies, work space, organizational
resources, and/or other good and valuable consideration, the Volunteer hereby waives all rights of action against Tredyffrin Township and the
agents and employees of Tredyffrin Township in the event of death, injury, and/or property damage and agrees to indemnify Tredyffrin Township and
the agents and the employees thereof in relation to any claim which be made arising out of or in any way related to the Volunteer's activities.
If the Volunteer commits an illegal act while working with the Project, or if in the opinion of the Project Manager the Volunteer's behavior is
detrimental to the aims of the Project, Tredyffrin Township, or the safety of the other volunteers on the Project, the Project Manager has the
right to require the Volunteer to leave the project site immediately and no liability on the part of Tredyffrin Township shall arise whatsoever.
The Volunteer is asked to supply contact details in order that Tredyffrin Township staff may assist in the case of an emergency. It is the
Volunteer's responsibility to ensure that the Volunteer is covered under adequate health insurance for the entire duration of the volunteer period.
Tredyffrin Township accepts no liability for healthcare expenses that may arise as a result of any illness or accident that may occur either on or
off the project premises at any time during the volunteer period.
