The mission of the Office of Community Relations is to provide information to the public so it can be informed of current crime trends and have a basic understanding of how to reduce its risk of becoming a victim to a crime.

Members of this office provide support to the Patrol Division and Detective Unit, as well as the community. It works closely with the residential, commercial and industrial communities and develops strategies that promote proactive community problem solving and crime prevention.

Crime prevention officers work closely with groups like theTredyffrin Townwatch Association, which is a group of volunteers that assist the police in crime reduction. Additionally the unit is responsible for presenting a wide range of safety and education programs, including DARE and Officer Friendly to students in the Tredyffrin portion of the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District http://www.tesd.k12.pa.us/.
