The "East Central Avenue Multi-Modal Project” will upgrade the existing sidewalks on the south side of East Central Avenue from Route 252, near Paoli Pointe, all the way west to the Station Square Office Complex. ADA ramps and crosswalks will be provided along East Central Avenue at various locations. The existing roadway travel lanes will be reduced in width by 5-ft on both sides of the roadway to include 5-ft bike lanes. The East Central Avenue Multi-Modal Project will be completed in 2017.
This project is being completed with the help of the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Federal-Aid Reimbursement Grant, provided by PennDOT & the DVRPC. Tredyffrin Township was awarded the grant in November of 2014.
