COVID 19 Message from Tredyffrin Township Manager
Contact: William F. Martin, Township Manager; firstname.lastname@example.org, 610-644-1400
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - MARCH 24, 2020
On behalf of the Board of Supervisors and staff at the Township, I wanted to take a moment to provide an update on the Township response to COVID-19 and to address what the “Stay at Home” Order issued by the Governor means for the operations of the Township.
First and foremost, the health, safety and welfare of the residents is a top priority and will remain a top priority. Police officers, as well as fire and EMS personnel, will continue to respond to calls as normal while taking every precaution to protect themselves and the public.
As for non-emergency services, for us to do our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19, the Township is now having all non-essential employees work from home. We will continue to receive and process tax and sewer payments and do our best to respond to phone calls and emails.
As we have previously communicated, Township offices will remain closed to the public and all Township Parks will be closed effective immediately until April 6th. (UPDATE - MARCH 30TH: Township Parks are closed and will be evaluated based on recommendations from the Federal and Commonwealth agencies.)
We understand that these are difficult times, but I can assure you that we are working with the Board of Supervisors and our staff to ensure as minimal disruption during this time.
Furthermore, we are positioning the Township to be ready to resume normal business as soon as possible.
Please visit the Township website at www.tredyffrin.org and social media sites for more information, we will provide periodic updates as they become available.
Thank you and be safe.
