Tredyffrin-Easttown Fire Commission
On December 15, 2025, the Tredyffrin and Easttown Township Boards of Supervisors established the Tredyffrin-Easttown Fire Commission (TEFC) under the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Act 77 of 1996. The TEFC consists of three Supervisors from Tredyffrin Township and two from Easttown Township, appointed by their respective governing bodies to serve one-year terms.
The Fire Commission oversees fire and emergency services for both municipalities, ensuring operational effectiveness, compliance with safety standards, and alignment with public expectations. Its responsibilities include setting strategic goals, managing finances, and providing leadership. The Fire Commission also appoints the Fire Chief, who directs personnel and daily operations.
Unless otherwise advertised or indicated herein, all meetings shall be held in person beginning at 3 PM in the Township Building meeting room of Easttown at 566 Beaumont Road in Devon, or Tredyffrin at 1100 Duportail Road in Berwyn. Meetings to discuss and approve the 2027 budget will be scheduled in October/November and may be held in the evening.
