GVF, a transportation management association servicing communities in both Chester & Montgomery County, provides resources to help you travel throughout our region. Whether interested in alternative modes to get to and from work or preparing for a trip, GVF can help you plan accordingly.

  • GVFTMA: Visit GVF’s website to stay up to date on relevant public policy issues, transportation news and resources, local construction projects, GVF event details, and more! 
  • WeAreTDM: A “one stop shop” for information about transportation alternatives. This website has information on public transit, trails, biking, carpooling and more to get you moving.
  • TMACC: TMACC represents all of Chester County and continues to advocate for sustainable transportation practices and connectivity.

SEPTA Service Cuts - 2025

New state funding has not yet been approved, and SEPTA must budget with the funds they have available. Therefore, they have no choice but to move forward with Phase 1, which implements 20% service cuts on August 24, August 25 and September 2 and a 21.5% fare increase on September 1. Riders will first see the elimination of 32 bus routes and significant reductions in trips on all rail services (including the end of special services like Sports Express), longer commute times and more crowded conditions onboard. Affected routes in our area include:

Route 106 will be discontinued. A new Route 105 will provide service on much of this alignment from 69th St Transit Center to Paoli via Lancaster Avenue. Service along Argyle Road will be discontinued.

Route 124 will be shortened to operate as a circulator service between Gulph Mills Station, King of Prussia Mall, and Chesterbrook. Route 125 will provide service between 30th St. Station and Gulph Mills Station via Wissahickon Transit Center. Customers can also use the Market-Frankford Line [L] and Norristown High Speed Line [M] to connect to Route 124 at Gulph Mills Station.

Route 204 will be discontinued effective September 27, 2025. Service on Lancaster Avenue between Paoli Station and Exton Square Mall will be discontinued.

Route 206 will be discontinued. No alternative services are available.

Thorndale/Paoli line (PAO): Weekday service is reduced to hourly with select half hour service levels during peak periods on the Paoli/Thorndale Line. No Express/Limited Stop trains will operate. Weekend service will be reduced from hourly to every two hours. As of January 2026, all service will be eliminated on the Paoli/Thorndale Line. Route 105 and the M (Norristown High Speed Line) will provide some alternative service to some customers.
