Gregory Lane Stormwater Management/Drainage Improvement Project
The Township’s Gregory Lane Stormwater Management and Drainage Improvement Project is scheduled to begin construction activities between August 18, 2024 and September 1, 2025. This project will involve the removal, replacement and upgrade of underground stormwater drainage piping, inlets, manholes, as well as the installation of one (1) underground stormwater infiltration bed beneath the roadway cul-de-sac on Gregory Lane. AQUA is currently performing construction activities to replace and upgrade their existing water supply lines on Delancy Circle and Gregory Lane. The AQUA work is scheduled to be completed by September 1, 2025.
The Township has hired Mason Dixon Contractors, LLC to do the construction activities with work expected continue through the end of 2025, weather dependent. During portions of the project, while specific work is being performed to replace the storm piping and inlets and install the underground stormwater infiltration bed beneath Township roadway, there will be some daytime road closures to allow the contractor to remove and install the new infrastructure. Residents will be allowed to access their properties within the project work zone areas, but may experience some temporary disruptions during the daytime while active excavation or installation of infrastructure is occurring, which will be coordinated by Mason Dixon Contractors, LLC.
The Township asks for residents patience and understanding as work is being performed for this critical Township Stormwater Improvement Project. This project will greatly benefit the residents and property owners living along the Devon State Road Branch of Trout Creek, by capturing, managing, infiltrating and/or reducing peak flow rates of existing stormwater runoff from existing historical development neighborhoods.
