West Valley Road Stormwater Pipe Replacement
This project involves the replacement of stormwater sewers and structures located on West Valley Road, Jeffrey Lane, and Lawrence Lane, and an emergency pipe stabilization repair between Jeffrey Lane and Upper Weadley Road.
The construction of the replacement of the metal storm sewer system beginning on West Valley Road to a point of discharge located on Jeffrey Lane includes the installation of stormwater catch basin inlets (16 EA), manholes (11 EA), 18" to 30" diameter fiberglass storm sewer (approximately 1,320 LF), a concrete headwall with riprap outlet protection, asphalt roadway and driveway restoration.
The construction of an emergency sanitary pipe stabilization located between Jeffrey Lane and Upper Weadley Road includes, but is not limited to, the installation of soil encapsulated lift, compacted backfill, and a stormwater level spreader. The approximate completion date is end of November 2025 (weather permitting).
Throughout the month of August 2025, Jurich worked diligently on West Valley Road, relocating the water main and installing the storm sewer structures. The crew finished up the pipe runs and fiberglass pipe and drop manhole installation down to Jeffrey Lane. Paving on the West Valley Road portion of the project was completed and West Valley Road reopened to traffic on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Work will continue down to Jeffrey Lane and is still on track to wrap up November 2025.
