NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that proposals and qualifications are being solicited by the Tredyffrin-Easttown Fire Commission (TEFC) to obtain Municipal Solicitor services as described in the RFP for the Tredyffrin-Easttown Fire Department. Individuals, law firms and representatives within a law firm responding to the Request for Proposal, should have extensive experience in all phases of Municipal operations and law. A knowledgeable background and qualifications in the provision of the services described with the RFP. The RFP package for this service is also available on the Tredyffrin Township website www.tredyffrin.org and at the reception desk at the Tredyffrin Township Office 1100 DuPortail Road, Berwyn, PA 19312 during regular business hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Please note, the TEFC reserves the right to conduct an independent review of publicly available information, including, but not limited to the review of court dockets, media reports, etc., to verify the responses to this Request for Proposal.


Request for Proposal (June 24, 2024): FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Project: Glenisle, Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania(PDF, 307KB)

Tredyffrin Township requests proposals from a Secretary of Interior (SOI) Professional qualified consultant to complete an Evaluation-level Survey of the property at 1289 Yellow Springs Road, Malvern PA, known as Glenilse. The Survey of Glenilse must meet Pennsylvania Commonwealth level recordation guidelines for historic properties, as outlined in the PA SHPO 2022 Guidelines for Recording Buildings in Pennsylvania. Professional research by a SOI-qualified investigator will provide insights and images to further the goals of the Tredyffrin Township’s governance and management of its historic resources and the Township’s Historical Commission’s capacity for preservation planning, identification, evaluation, designation and documentation of its historic properties.

The applicant shall ensure the delivery of a recordation package to include but not be limited to a physical description and history of the property, date(s) of construction, significance and integrity narrative, historical images, site plan, floor plan, and historic uses for all buildings and landscape features located within the boundaries of the property.

Moreover, the chosen consultant will develop and deliver no more than a one (1)-day training in-person workshop in conjunction with the Glenilse Evaluation-level Survey to provide Tredyffrin Township Historical Commission, Township staff and its community partners the opportunity to learn how to conduct research, investigate, and record historic properties for their future preservation efforts.
