Tredyffrin Township is taking part in the Trex recycling program that gives residents easier access to recycle plastic items. A complete list of acceptable items can be found by clicking here.

Back by popular demand - our Trex Plastic Recycling Bins are available again at the Tredyffrin Library (582 Upper Gulph Road, Wayne) AND the Tredyffrin Township Building. To reduce contamination and avoid closure of these bins again, we ask that you please learn what is and is not acceptable plastic for recycling by visiting https://nextrex.com/view/educate. For more information, contact Tracy at tracyviola@comcast.net.

 

Please watch the brief videos below before recycling your plastic film. The Trex bins were shut down earlier this year due to contamination and incorrect plastics being deposited into the bins. The Tredyffrin Township Environmental Advisory Council and our volunteers want to keep these bins going, so please review the videos and information on the NexTrex website before dropping off your plastic.
