SEPTA Bus, Metro and Regional Rail Service Restored, September 14-15, 2025
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) approved SEPTA’s request for the one-time use of its state capital assistance to cover operations. SEPTA will restore service on September 14 and September 15, depending on the route. Additionally, a 21.5% system-wide fare increase will be reinstated on September 14 for all SEPTA modes and fare products.
