The Tredyffrin Township Planning & Zoning Department includes Permits & Inspections, Subdivision and Land Development, and Zoning related issues.
The Planning & Zoning Department administers, prepares, and maintains the provisions of the Zoning and Subdivision & Land Development Ordinances. The provisions of the Zoning Ordinance are enforced to assure orderly, attractive development while the Comprehensive Plan sets a vision for future development in Tredyffrin Township through land use goals and policies established by the Board of Supervisors. The Planning and Zoning Department also provides technical staff services to the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors. Building permits and code enforcement are coordinated by the Code Officials, ensuring timely compliance with the Building Code and Property Maintenance Code.
