Published on July 23, 2025
JULY 31, 2025 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:
The Township’s Sinkhole Remediation work on Glenhardie Road is continuing during the week of August 4, 2025. Grouting to address the recent sinkholes on Glenhardie Road is nearing completion by the Township’s contractor CGS. Work with grouting is expected to be completed by Tuesday, August 5th, followed by the actual repair and restoration of the existing sinkhole and resurfacing of the roadway by P.J. Reilly, on and near the Glenhardie Road Bridge, near Richards Road.
If weather permits, and work continues on schedule, the Township expects the roadway to potentially reopen sometime in mid-August. The Township asks for residents patience and understanding as work is being performed for this critical Sinkhole Remediation Project by the Township.
Stay tuned for additional updates as they become available. If residents have any questions, please contact Hilliary Mallory at (610) 408-3626 or contact the Engineering Department at EngineeringDept@tredyffrin.org.
