Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Construction to Close Route 252 (Bear Hill Road) Weekdays in Tredyffrin Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will perform utility construction on Route 252 (Bear Hill Road) in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, beginning on Monday, August 31.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Monday, August 31, through Friday, November 20, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, Route 252 (Bear Hill Road) will be closed and detoured weekdays between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Swedesford Road/Howellville Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Route 29 (Morehall Road), and Swedesford Road/Howellville Road.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or through the detour route because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
